This week Sharon Mines submitted a skull made out of old clock parts!
I had been creating a series of skulls representing the human system. In my cog skull I was showing the impression of time on the human body.
My skull is made from a wire frame which I shaped by hand, then hand stitched with gold colour thread various watch parts, watch faces, cogs, hands, gears over the skull mixed with old sequins which I took from an old sequined jumper I had from the 80s.
